A Train Runs Through It: My Hometown, LaGrange

Saturday, before we hopped on a plane back to Provo, Neil and I took a little tour of my hometown, LaGrange, KY. It's a widespread town with actually quite a few residents, but you'd never guess because it's so charming and everything is so tucked away (mostly) and perfect.

Downtown is the best!

le Train

Right through the center of Main Street!

So. Cool.

A cute bench along Main Street.

The bench outside the "Classy Consignments" shop. (Ain't got nothin' on D.I.!)

Me: "Neil!! THE TRAIN! POSE!!!" Neil: "Okaayy...."
Yum. The Red Pepper is a great place to grab a bite for lunch!

So, that's LaGrange. Well, Downtown anyway. I love it there. It's very quaint.

  1. i am going to show Kyle this post just as soon as he gets home tonight. he has yet to learn what the real meaning of 'quaint' is. he makes comments like 'that is so quaint' at totally inappropriate times. he will see downtown le grange and then the lightbulb of understanding will turn on and that word will never be misused in his vocab again. because you are truly right - your hometown appears to be super quaint! :)
